of North Little Rock, AR
August 10, 1949 - May 17, 2020
Quin S. Godsey III, 70, of North Little Rock, died peacefully on Sunday, May 17.
A lifelong resident of North Little Rock, Quin was a devoted family man. Born August 10, 1949, Quin was the son of Q.S. and Louise Godsey. For almost 50 years, he was the owner and operator of Godsey Cleaners, a family business founded by his father in 1943. Quin graduated from NLR High School in 1967 and UALR (then LRU) in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration.
Quin was married to his high school sweetheart, Judi Morris Godsey, for almost 49 years. Together, they raised their daughter, Lauren. Quin was devoted to Judi and Lauren, a family man in every sense of the word. He worked hard his entire life to provide a life full of love and laughter for his family. Quin was almost never without a smile. He had a joyous, friendly spirit and made friends wherever he went.
Probably Quin's proudest moment was the birth of his grandson, John Isaac, and earning the title of ''Pop.'' Quin loved spending time with John Isaac, as they shared their passion for washing machines.
A 32nd Degree Mason, Quin served as Master of Big Rock Lodge #633 in 2009 and again in 2011. Quin was a lifelong Christian and was raised in the Church of Christ faith.
Quin was preceded in death by his parents and two special brothers-in-law, Jeff Powell and Dr. Billy Joe Thrasher. Survivors include his wife Judi, daughter and son-in-law Lauren and John Neal, and grandson John Isaac Neal, all of North Little Rock; his sister Barbara Thrasher of Columbia, TN, and his aunt Margie Massey of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends that he considered family.
Visitation will be held from 8:00am 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:00am at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, access to visitation may be limited at times and social distancing will be advised at the cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks for the outstanding care he received from Right at Home.

How many people can say: "It is fun to stop by the dry cleaners and pick up our duds!" Such was the case for when we would cross paths with dear Quin. He was efficient, informative and pure fun to visit with at his shop. We always looked thro the window to see if he was there when we drove past. He was just simply put - A VERY GOOD GENTLEMAN. All of the community of NLR join you in anticipating how very, very much Quin will be missed. Dear Godsey family, we pray GOD will send angels to surround and guide you, now and into all your tomorrows. Our sympathies to those who knew and loved QUIN GODSEY.
