Kenneth Hill Johnson, 89, of Sherwood, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2020. He was born on January 21, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Calvin Reba and Eula Mae Johnson.

Ken (Big John to his fellow service members) was very proud of his years serving our country as an Air Force Fire Fighter both Active Duty and Civil Service. A well decorated veteran with 45 years' service, he enjoyed collecting Air Force and Fire Fighting memorabilia and was an avid coin collector. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Johnson and Robert Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maria Pilar Rojo Y Valesco; daughter, Maria Christina Lanier; grandchildren, Amber Tiffany Lanier-Blase (Harrison), Ashley Colleen Lanier, and Mason Conner Sisson; great-grandchildren, Haley Nicole Davis, Cristian Alexander Trujillo, Branson Hill Blase, Jaxson John Blase and Pepper Pilar Barrios.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 8:00am to 11am at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. Private burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
