Charles Richard Arnold, 79, of Batesville passed away peacefully in his home May 15, 2020.
He was born November 27,1940 in Newark, Arkansas to Holman Woods Arnold and Bonnie (Michaels) Arnold.
Charles was a strong, kind hearted member of First United Methodist Church.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
Survivors include his loving wife whom he married August 24, 1959, Donna Ruth Arnold; two sons, Charles Patrick Arnold (Tammy) of Batesville, and Judd Parker Arnold (Leeann) of Cabot; four grandchildren, Charles Clinton Arnold of Batesville, Caitlin Roy (Peter) of Jonesboro, Anna Parks Arnold and Eli Thomas Arnold of Cabot; and one great-grandchild, Piper Rose Roy of Jonesboro.
Pallbearers are Todd Adcock, Steven Stalker, Scott Stalker, Jim Butler, Bill Arnold, and Randy Ward. Honorary pallbearers are Marcus Bowers, Jim Chaney, Keith Dew, Steve Felts, Robert Griffin, Bill Hughes, Don Heuer, and Jim Terrell.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Greg Neaville MD, JD Allen MD, Steve Bryant and staff, Davita staff, and WRMC Physicians and staff.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Mark McDonald officiating and Blair Arnold giving the eulogy. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitations will be one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Main Street Batesville, P.O. Box 3967, Batesville, AR 72503.
Due to the CDC guidelines for Covid-19, there is a maximum of 50 people in the building. You are required to wear a face covering and social distancing will be observed.
