Becky Jean Rygiel, 73, of Rose Bud, Arkansas passed away May 4, 2020. She was born August 1, 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Cecil Sherman and Della Ann Haney Cook.

Becky worked as a telephone operator for five years and discovered that the job she loved the best was being a housewife and homemaker. In this role she loved all of it but most of all was being able to take care of her family. She enjoyed working in her yard along with cooking and was known as a great cook. Becky loved to sew and took in sewing for the public. The greatest advantage for her by working at home was that she was able to be with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thaddeus Rygiel; her son, David Wayne Wortham (Alice) of Center Hill; daughter, Thaddena E. Rygiel (Butch) of Rose Bud; two sisters, Peggy Porter and Regenia Skinner both of Rose Bud, one brother, Cecil Sherman Cook, JR of Oklahoma and one aunt, Wyevette Jackson also of Rose Bud along with a host of other loving family members and friends.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rose Bud at a later date.
