On Saturday, April 18, 2020, Joyce Lucille Voyles Denton of Cave City, Arkansas, loving wife of Leeo Denton passed away at the age of 84.
Joyce was born on October 30, 1935 to James Alpheus and Zela Dee (McCrackin) Voyles. She graduated high school from Poughkeepsie, Arkansas. After working for years as a beautician, she was employed and subsequently retired from Banquet Foods in Batesville, Arkansas, where she served several years as Union Steward. She took great pride in her hand made quilts and embroidery. She adored her many nieces and nephews. Prior to being admitted to Lawrence Hall Nursing Home, her constant companion was ''Nissan'' her beloved chihuahua.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, four brothers, Conard, J.D., Argus and Bart; three sisters, Chloe Bryant, Ina Glidwell, and Emma Whitley.
A private graveside service will be held at Lebanon Cemetery in Nelsonville, Arkansas under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lebanon Cemetery c/o Bank of Cave City, P.O. 490, Cave City, Arkansas 72521.

I sure have missed Joyce poping around the corner for coffee.
She cared deeply for everyone and would literally give the shirt off her back for others is she thought it was needed.
My prayers are with her family and her caregivers.

I have fond memories of visiting them every summer when a child. May the souls of the faithfully departed Rest In Peace!
