James ''Jack'' Lee, 88, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 in Charleston, Arkansas. He was born on August 10, 1931 in Paris to his parents, Willy and Pearl (Payne) Lee.
Jack was a retired cattle and poultry farmer who always loved hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willy and Pearl (Payne) Lee; his grandson, Ross Lee and his brother, Buel Ray Lee.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Edna (Hillian) Lee of Paris; one daughter, ReeNita Johnson and husband Thomas of Paris; one son, Doyle Lee and wife Kim of Paris; five grandchildren, Shayne Lee, Sean Blake, Christopher Blake, Jessie Johnson Vines, Garret Johnson and six great grandchildren.
A private burial will be held in Mt. Salem Cemetery in Paris. A public memorial service that all friends and family will be invited to will be held at Mt. Salem Cemetery at a later date when all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted. Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
