Iva Loretta McGinty, age 74, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away Saturday March 14, 2020 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Iva was born in Pyatt, Arkansas December 30, 1945 to the late James Novle and Iva Lea (Alexander) Martin. She retired as Store Manager for Dollar General Stores while living in Hoxie, Kansas. She loved to read, play rummy, and she loved her dog Tuffy.
Iva is survived by her son Marvin Lee Short of Hays, Kansas; her niece Cindy (Roy) St. Clair of Pyatt, Arkansas; her sister Phyllis (Jim) Young of Mountain Home, Arkansas two grandsons: Andrew Short and Like Short both of Harrison, Arkansas; a soon-to-be great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, her sister Doris Kirk, and her brother Randy Martin.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday March 17, 2020 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Whitsell officiating.
Interment will follow at Davidson Cemetery in Harmon, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be John Adams, Mike Bradshaw, Brad Handley, Matt Ellis, Jeremy Merriman, and Chase St. Clair,
