Betty Sue Hill

of Cabot, AR

March 21, 1940 - March 4, 2020

Betty Sue Butler Hill left this world behind on March 4, 2020 at the age of 79. My mother was the very soul of the true ''Southern Lady''. She delighted in her family and treasured being a wife and mother. She is joyfully reunited in Paradise with her beloved husband, Gerald W. ''Skip'' Hill, her mother and father, Erma Butler and Roy Franklin Butler and her brother Robbie Butler.

She is survived by her daughter Melinda Sue Kimbrell and Son in Law Larry Don Kimbrell Jr.

My mother led her life with dignity and grace. Sue graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Harding University in 1962 before setting off with her best friend, Jody for Arizona''¦ because that's where the cowboys were. Instead of a cowboy, she met an Airman, my Dad, Skip Hill who became the love of her life. She met the challenges of being an Air Force wife with a happy heart, making our home a place of joy and love.

Mom loved her church family and was deeply committed to our Heavenly Father. She served her brothers and sister in Christ devotedly. She embodied the quiet and gentle spirit God loves. Her price was above rubies.

Mom's legacy does not rest in grandchildren or earthly riches but in the hundreds of lives she touched. She always had time for family and friends, no matter what they needed. Mom was a comforting hug, safety in the storm and always, always loved beyond measure.

The world is a lesser place without her in it.

Services for Sue Hill will be held graveside on Saturday, March 14th at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy at 4pm. Services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home of Searcy.

Ms Sue was a Wonderful lady in every way. I was her Private Nurse for almost 2 years. She touched my hreat and my families in every way. Although she had no blood grandchildren she was called Grandma Sue by my daughter Brilee. Ms Sue would play games and listen to musuc with Brilee. She was a very funny lady and cared abd worried about everyone. Thank God she and her husband passed on all those traits to her only daughter Melinda. Our lives will never be the same both from all the love she showed us to all the pain we feel in her loss. Rest In Peace. God Bless.
