(Christian) Chris J. Varnell, 25, a resident of Huntington, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020, at his home.
He was born December 18, 1994, in Fort Smith to Christopher Michael Varnell and Kelly Michelle Case. Chris could weld and worked in construction as a framer. He had a great heart, was a loving husband, an amazing friend and had a great sense of humor. In his spare time he loved playing the guitar, writing, drawing, swimming, camping and an avid fan of the Los Angeles Raiders.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Brenda Shepard; two sisters, Hope and Faith; an uncle, Jim ''Jimolboy'' Case and a cousin, Ariel Green.
Survivors include his wife, Candice (Foote) Varnell of Huntington; two daughters, Paisley Hope Varnell of Fort Smith and Rayleigh Faith Varnell of Van Buren; three stepdaughters, Alivia Slavens, Kenzie Slavens and Madelyn Slavens, all of Huntington; a stepson, Colton Pruitt of Huntington; his father and stepmother, Chris M. and Amanda Varnell of Van Buren and his mother, Kelly Michelle Case of Fort Smith; four brothers, Austin Varnell of Morrilton, Zach Stephens of Fort Smith, Tyler Varnell of Fort Smith and Ryan Varnell of Van Buren; a sister, Katelyn Varnell of Van Buren; paternal grandfather, Charles M. Varnell of Morrilton; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Claudia Case of Paris; several aunts and cousins and beloved role model and friend, Quinton McCutchen.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Private burial and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Christian We love you . We miss you. So much. You my son will always be missed and always be loved and never forgotten i promise..
