William Allen Kern, 30 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Tulsa. He was born on January 3, 1990 in Clarksville, Arkansas to his parents, Larry Allen Kern and Betty Mae Parker.
Will graduated from Subiaco Academy in 2008 and attended UCA for two years where he studied psychology. From 2011-2017 he worked alongside his father in the family business at the Friendly Tavern in Scranton. Will was currently working as a travel consultant for Chase Bank in Tulsa. From a young age he always enjoyed Pokemon, he often wrote short stories and loved music. Will was a great listener and genuine friend to many who was always known to have a compassionate heart towards the disadvantaged and all children. He believed atl human beings were worthy of respect and dignity and all were equal regardless of their differences.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Mae Parker and husband Rick of London; his father, Larry Allen Kern of Scranton; two sisters, Brandy Arnold and husband Nick of Bentonville and Lora Kern and Bryan Friemel of Scranton; his five nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as Uncle Potch, Race Rogers, Ethan Arnold, Ingrid Arnold, Grayson Friemel and Elli Jo Friemel; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and his therapy cat, Novi.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Fr. John Miranda and Rev. Michael Abel. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church officiated by Fr. John Miranda. Private family burial will be held in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Sorry I couldn't be at the memorial in person.My heart is deeply saddened with the loss of William.We had many laughs as well as many deep discussions.He was wise beyond his years. I'm gonna miss him very much.

Will had an amazingly sweet heart and an old soul. He always made you laugh and even when he was down, he wanted to show everyone a good time. I loved going to the Friendly Tavern when Larry owned it. My grandma and I will be praying for the family. R.I.P Will â¤ï¸
I have some great memories with Will. I also have a lot of respect for him. His family is in our thoughts.
I have so many wonderful memories of times spent at the Kern home. My heart aches for all of you. William will be greatly missed.
