Hermeta Joyce (Crowell) Minden, 57 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on January 4, 2020 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. She was born on October 21, 1962 in Willits, California to her parents, Herman and Juanita (Tedford) Crowell. She graduated from Paris High School and was retired from Cloye's Gear Company after working for over 25 years. Hermeta always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, the outdoors and putting puzzles together.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Juanita (Tedford) Crowell and her sister, Alma Varnell.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerrick Allen Crowell and companion, Monica of Dardanelle, Andrew Wayne Whitley and wife Shelley of Lima, Ohio and Stephen Daniel Whitley and fiance Doriet of Dardanelle; two sisters, Debbie Cauthren and husband Rickie of Paris and Sophia Elaine Underwood and husband Stephen of Delaware and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Midway Assembly of God officiated by Rev. Rick Nye. Burial of cremated remains will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I hated to hear Hermita had cancer and hated it worse when saw what it was doing to her. She fought as hard as she could. Hope her family finds comfort in knowing she is cancer free and so very healthy today.
