Ronnie Dale Owens, 62, of Belton, Missouri entered into rest on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Luke East Hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Ronnie was born in Mountain View, Arkansas on March 18, 1957 to Alton and Joyce (Ward) Owens. Ronnie accepted the Lord at age 17. Ronnie enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked for many years in construction doing drywall.
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Alton and Joyce (Ward) Owens; his wife, Debbie (Barker) Owens; one daughter, Heather Slusher and husband Matthew; one brother, Tom Owens; mother-in-law, Carolyn Barker; brother-in-law, Eddie Barker; two grandchildren, Andi Kay and Celia; nieces and nephews, Whitney Toates and husband Phillip, Blake Owens and wife Kayla, Dustin Barker, Blaire Tarry and husband Travis, along with several cousins, extended family and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pate and Glee Owens and Garland and Elsie Ward, and father -in-law, Reggie Barker.
Visitation is Monday, December 30, 2019, 11:00AM-1:00PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Graveside services will follow the visitation at Stevens Cemetery in Fifty Six, Arkansas with Bro Tim Reynolds officiating.
Pallbearers are Michael Passmore, Brian Martin, Blake Owens, Dustin Barker, Shawn Batterton, and Travis Tarry. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Housley, Michael Oxner, and Pat Fitts.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
