Mrs. Helen Parker, 90, of Jonesboro left this walk of life Wednesday, December 18, 2019. She was born June 18, 1929 to Harvey and Maggie (Simmons) Medgit. She was a member of the Little Texas Missionary Baptist Church and loved dancing at the senior citizens dances, cooking, playing bingo and going to the casino.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 31 years, C. R. Parker; sons, Ricky Dale and Robin David Parker; daughter, Landra Parker; granddaughter, Landra Haley Gilbow; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is daughters, Diana Kay (Harrold) Thetford, Connie Holladay (Ernie Smith), Karyn (Phil) Tackett, and Sandra (David) Haley; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2019 at Red Cemetery, Cash, Arkansas with Brother Terry Simmons officiating.
