Bettye Helen Wortham (Slaughter) of Joy, age 87 passed away on October 6, 2019. Preceding her death were her parents George and Norma Slaughter, her husband Glen Wortham, son Lloyd David Wortham, daughter Marita Kay Wortham, and granddaughter Kendra Short.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Davis of Beebe, Gail Taylor and son-in-law Gene Taylor of Bald Knob. She had two sons Ricky Wortham of Joy and Harold Wortham and daughter-in-law Maureen of Joy. She had 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7PM Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00AM Friday, October 11, 2019 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mt Bethel Cemetery.
