Dear Tina, Kathy, DiAnn, and Ricky,
From a very early age, your Mom started teaching me the most important aspect of health care. Sitting at home, around my parent's kitchen table, dear Aunt Mary demonstrated her passion for patients with both a twinkle in her eye and with the sudden wrath when the discussion move to those beloved patients being mistreated in any way. Over the decades I have tried to share that passion with my students as it was so often shared with me by your Mom.
The pain of loss is real…Jesus Himself wept with the death of Lazarus. Our comfort comes from knowing we will all wake up together on the last day that begins our eternity together with Him and each other. My family's prayers are that the love of Christ brings each of you and your families comfort now and until we are together again.
