Dapha Nell Ennis Gillmore, 60, of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas passed away on May 31, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Daph was born on July 14, 1958 in Batesville, Arkansas to Ray Ennis and Ruby Nell (Dayberry) Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked hard for many years including at McNeil's Fast Break, the Stone County Medical Center and owning and operating the Newnata Grocery Store. Daph will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be missed tremendously.
Daph is survived by her husband of 14 years, Pete Gillmore: mother, Ruby Nell Wilson(Jim); sons, Andy Ray Avey and wife Brittany and Josh Lee Avey; two daughters, Dana Thomas and husband Billy and Renee Malone and husband Ronald; one sister, Kelly McClure; eight grandchildren, Josh S. Avey, Ashlynn Avey, Braden Avey, Cole Avey, Blayne Avey, Katelyn Thomas, Hayden Malone, and Kolton Malone; along with a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Daph was preceded in death by her father, Ray Ennis.
Visitation is Monday, June 3, 2019, 1:00-2:00 PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment is at Kelley Ford Cemetery in St. James, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Justin Meeker, Billy Thomas, Ronald Malone, Cody McClure, Darian Thacker, and Josh S. Avey. Honorary pallbearers are Cleetes Gillmore, Howard Stewart, James Ivy, Anthony Avey, Todd Avey, and Glen Dayberry.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
