I go looking back on your Obituary. I still find it funny that they spelled my name wrong. God Chuck! I miss you! Everything isn't the same since you gone home to Jesus. Why did you have to leave so soon. Days before you passed we we're on the phone. I asked you what you were doing. You said Sitting in the hospital. I said WHAT! Then it all started making sense. You wanted to know where you could get food for people in need. As I was on my way to get a load of food. I told you, and offered to ride with him to help whenever he got better. Better never came. I love you Brother! And I miss you everyday. Wish you were here to help me solve my problems. Rest In Peace my friend. Til I see you again someday!

Irene and I are finding it hard to express in words our feeling on the passing of Chuck. We thought highly of Chuck and will miss his occasional visits. We will miss not seeing him from time to time in his moving about in our area of the community. The community of Leslie, as a whole, has lost one of the finest young men Irene and I have met along our way during our time on earth. Peace be with you and with the family.

Wish I could make it to the services, never really knew much about chuck till the last couple times I went down there and was around him. A big hulking man who looked intimidating but was a real nice gentle giant of a guy who loved his family and people around him. He took in anyone who needed help including a young lady who was down on her luck and treated her as his own. Really wish I had gotten to know him more! Sorry for your loss Becky and I love yall.

Charles (Chuck) will be a part of our family history forever! Oh how much fun he and Barret had! From purchasing, Sara, the black kitten for $1.00, to riding a downed tree down the raging Cove Creek during a rainstorm...... and so many more adventures.
Thank you Charles for being a first responder. Thank you for always saying hello. Thank you for being our friend. The Henderson family

My heart and prayers go out to Rebecca And the kids. Charles loved you all dearly and you’re all he ever talked about. Charles was my first cousin but to each other we were brother and sister. My heart is absolutely shattered and I wish I could make it to the service. Please know I’ll be there in spirit. I loved him very much and am thankful for the time we spent together as kids and so blessed and thankful we reconnected a few years ago. I love you bubba. And will always carry you in my heart. Please give mom and sis my love when you see them.
