I go looking back on your Obituary. I still find it funny that they spelled my name wrong. God Chuck! I miss you! Everything isn't the same since you gone home to Jesus. Why did you have to leave so soon. Days before you passed we we're on the phone. I asked you what you were doing. You said Sitting in the hospital. I said WHAT! Then it all started making sense. You wanted to know where you could get food for people in need. As I was on my way to get a load of food. I told you, and offered to ride with him to help whenever he got better. Better never came. I love you Brother! And I miss you everyday. Wish you were here to help me solve my problems. Rest In Peace my friend. Til I see you again someday!
Chuck I am so proud at what a remarkable impact you made around the community & im sorry I wasn’t around to witness it. When Ron Edmiston told me of your passing I was devastated to say the least. Hope you’re flying high my friend, until we meet again. Love, Annie

The community of Leslie, as a whole, has lost one of the finest young men Irene and I have met along our way during our time on earth. Peace be with you and with the family.

Wish I could make it to the services, never really knew much about chuck till the last couple times I went down there and was around him. A big hulking man who looked intimidating but was a real nice gentle giant of a guy who loved his family and people around him. He took in anyone who needed help including a young lady who was down on her luck and treated her as his own. Really wish I had gotten to know him more! Sorry for your loss Becky and I love yall.
