I will never forget the day in Woodruff Junior High School that my teacher announced “class, we have a new student, Mary Jo Cherry.” She was a very pretty girl with black hair and a friendly smile. We became very good friends. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. The world will miss that smile, but heaven has gained another angel. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.
