Charles Edward Tudor, age 86 of Marshall, Arkansas died Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 15th, 1932 to Lillian Massey Tudor and James R. Tudor.
Ed graduated from Marshall High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He was Editor, Publisher and owner of the Stone County Leader, Calico Rock News and Marshall Mountain Wave newspapers. Ed served on the State Publicity Park Commission from 1966 to 1973 and was a former president of the Arkansas Shorthorn Association. He served as a volunteer firefighter in Marshall and an adjunct instructor with the Arkansas Fire Academy.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce Tudor; his children, Eddie Lou Bowman, Charles Tudor, Elizabeth Foreman, Renee Cullum, Lea Ann Lowrance and Nancy Tudor; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Billy Douglas Tudor of Overland Park, Kansas.
Funeral services for Ed will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Chase Kagen officiating. Pallbearers will be Chase Kagen, Cy Parker, Nick Tudor, Levon Standridge, Dale Earls, Matthew Horton and Scott Merriman. Honorary pallbearers will be George Daniel, Charles Daniel, Sid Lowrance, David Cullum, Marshall Volunteer Fire Department and Archey Creek Deer Camp. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
I would've loved to have met you and your family. Your brother was a good grandfather and a great man, as I'm sure you were as well. May you walk with our Father in heaven. Rest in peace.

I just now read this sad news of the loss of this fine man in my life. He was a good employer when I worked at the Mt. Wave back in 1979. It was a joy to come to know Eddie and Joyce and family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days ahead. I pray for God to comfort you with loving memories.
