Myrtle Mae (Boyd) Penrod, 92, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2018. She was born March 14, 1926 in Rosebud, AR to the late Pearl William Titus Boyd and Mabel McKenzie Boyd. Myrtle is also preceded in death by the father of her children, Cassell Penrod, her brothers, Olin ''Hi'', Bill, and Bobby Boyd, sister, Bertha Boyd McGuire, and sons-in-law, Bill Graham and Alan Harrison.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda Graham, Patricia White (Dennis), Roy Penrod (Linda), and Jane Harrison, grandchildren, Matthew Graham, Elizabeth Favorite, Raquel Dykes, Justin White, Susan Williams, Sally Gullett, Samuel Penrod, Alli Doney, Jayna Harvison, and Kyler Harrison, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of Pickles Gap Baptist Church for 55 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and crocheting. Most of all Myrtle loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a Christian lady who was a great example to everyone she came in contact with. Myrtle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be at 12pm Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home, with Brian Harvison officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Rosebud. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons, Matthew Graham, Justin White, Samuel Penrod, Quinten Favorite, Zachary Favorite, Stephen Chronister, Wesley Williams, Ethan Doney, and Coby Harvison. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Harrison Favorite, Noah Dykes, Trey Roberts, Caleb Harvison, and grandson, Kyler Harrison.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab and staff.
