Debra Sue Reeves

of Conway, AR

December 5, 1948 - October 5, 2018

Debra Sue Reeves, 69, was a true Proverbs 31 woman. She was an individual of noble character. She was a pure example of strength and dignity, and her children and grandchildren recognized her as blessed. She, also, bestowed blessings on others through her grace and sacrifice. Our ''Mawmaw'', as she was called by her grands and by her grands' friends, was an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend.

Debbie was born on December 5, 1948, in Conway, AR, to Benjamin and Jewelle Stacks. Debbie met the love of her life, Garry Reeves of the home, on a blind date in 1965. Debbie and Garry recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Garry and Debbie spent their life together building a home built on faith in the Lord, trust, sacrifice, love, and hard work.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ben Stacks, Jr., and sisters, Nesta Tucker and Barbara Bryan. She is survived by her husband, Garry Reeves, her children, Shey Williams (Roger), Michana Rimmer (Vic), and Micah Reeves (Kenley), two sisters, Patricia Simpson and Donna Grisham, three brothers, Ken, Bill, and Jim Stacks, her seven grands, Benjamin, Garrett, Natalie, Mattie, Cody, Micaela, and Mallory, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

Debbie finished her career as the business manager/bookkeeper at Guy-Perkins School District. She was employed with the district from 1989 until 2014 when she retired.

Visitation will take place at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Sunday, October 7th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8th at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery.

I am praying for the family!! Debbie was always the sweetest lady anytime I would see and visit with her. Heaven is surely rejoicing on this day to have received such a treasure. I am sending a special prayer for Garry because I know he will be lost without the love of his life. I also know he will be comforted by our Lord and Savior and his promise!

Please except my condolences. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again. John 5:28, 29 gives this assurance.

Mr. Reeve and Family,

There are no words that could possibly take your pain away. I want you to know that when I read of your mother passing it broke my heart. You all have been such an important part of me as a child, adult and teacher. I didn’t know your mother but Mr. Reeves has always been such an important part of who I am as a person. He instilled in me some wonderful things that I try my best to pass on to my own studentsand children. However, not knowing your mother and knowing Mr. Reeves, Shey and Michanna, I know with out a doubt there was a wonderful women ! I send my prayers for peace and comfort.
I love you all very much!!!!

Ms. Debbie was the kindest, sweetest person I will ever have the pleasure to work with. She was a true lady in every sense of the word, and one of the main reasons that Guy-Perkins School is still here today. I never, ever heard one negative or hurtful thing come out of her mouth about anybody, or anything in the 17 years we worked together. She will be greatly missed, and I will never forget Ms. Debbie. Prayers for comfort and peace to Garry and the entire family.
