Mysty McPherson, mother to all, age 87, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. McPherson was born January 26, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Harry Charles and Mary Mertice (Ham) Templeton. She was a homemaker a member of the DAR, as well as a founding member of Marion County Heritage Society. She was a former secretary of Ralph Caney Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Baxter County Glad Garden Club. She had lived in the area for the past 36 years coming here from Hockessin, Delaware where she lived from 1961 - 1983.

Mysty is survived by two daughters: Valerie M. McPherson Alexander and her husband, Thomas L., of Yellville Arkansas; Sandra "Sam" Hester and her husband, Jeffrey Wayne, of Pine Mountain, Arkansas; two stepdaughters: Barbara Sanders and her husband, Bill, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Gail Boggs and her husband, Peter, of Tain Scotland; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her nephew Michael Fiore of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: C.R. "Mac" McPherson, Jr. and John Gress Hughes, III; and her sister Betty Fiore.
