Richard Earl Young, 75, of Greenbrier, AR, went to be with The Lord Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born July 31, 1941, in Merced, CA to the late Matthew and Helen (Bishop) Young. Richard, was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Ruth ''Granny'' Young and maternal grandmother, Eva Stevens.
Richard spent most of his life outdoors. He enjoyed camping and photography. Richard was an avid reader. He loved to read How-to books that expanded his knowledge and books about nature. Richard enjoyed computers, watching Nascar, and being a grandpa. In his later years, he enjoyed taking drives through the mountains.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, daughter, Dorinna and husband Kenneth Rogelstad of Greenbrier; two grandsons, Curtis Speth and Joshua Huffman; five great-grandchildren, Jade and Jewel Speth, O'rija, Jaden, and Christopher Huffman; two sisters, Barbara Bacon Barrass, and Michelle Young Andrews, and a host of nieces and nephews.
