Norman Sensabaugh, 78, of Cave City died Friday, June 17, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born May 10, 1938, in Hollywood, California, he was the son of Thomas Bryan Sensabaugh and Iva Muriel (Storts) Sensabaugh.
He owned and operated Cave City Florist for 30 years until his retirement. He was a volunteer with the Cave City Fire Department for 37 years, and was inducted into the Arkansas Firefighters Hall of Fame in 2012. Norman enjoyed flying remote control planes, woodworking, gardening, and telling stories. He loved his family and friends. He was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lola Sensabaugh; son, Chris Sensabaugh and his wife, Tanya; and daughter, Tammy Conyers, all of Cave City; three grandchildren, Morgan Sensabaugh and his wife, Enith, of Batesville, Mason Sensabaugh and his wife, Holly, of Jonesboro and Caleb Conyers of Cave City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, John Sensabaugh.
There will be a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Eddy Lee and Bro. Carroll Kinley officiating. Music will be provided by Charles Landers and Ginger Sandy.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Milligan, Curt Coles, Kenny Wilson, Billy Corter, Greg Johnson and Billy Penn. Honorary pallbearers are the Cave City Fire Department, the Cave City Graduating Class of 1956, and Dr. Andy Davidson.
Burial will be in Cave City Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at the First Missionary Baptist Church.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that words cannot comfort you but Jesus can. So, my prayers are the He will provide you with strength, courage and comfort during this time. We continue to pray for your family and know that God will provide. He always has, is doing so now, and will continue to do so from this point forward. Bro. Words are never adequate at time such as these however God has promised that you will be with him in eternity a lot longer than you will be without him here on earth.
