There will NEVER be another Brenda Rushing, She was one of a kind: smart, funny, loyal, dedicated to her family and to nursing. We worked together at the old Helena Hospital, many, many moons ago! She pierced my ears in the emergency room (while she was nursing supervisor and I was RN on duty in the ER). Just told me to get an 16 gauge needle, hold still and shut up! I admired, respected and loved her! I plan to be present at her burial on Sunday, Sept. 29th at Sunset. Condolences to the family whom she loved more than life itself. Praying for comfort for you all, as I'm sure there is a "big hole" in your heart with this great loss.
Miss Brenda was a truly amazing person. She taught me to be a good worker and person you had to have a backbone. For that I always admired her for her courage. My thoughts and prayers are with all her loved ones in this time of need. This community lost a great person. Much love to all of you.
So sorry for your loss. God bless the family.
Phil, Wendy, Maggie and Joseph,

Niki and Phil,
Your Mother was a comfort and a blessing to me when my Mother was in the nursing home in England. Our relationship quickly turned into a friendship during Mama's stay and continued after Mama left. She loved you and her grandchildren immensely and spoke of all of you every time we visited. I will truly miss her. I don't use the term "friend" often. But I am proud to say that she was my friend. My heart is heavy at the news of her passing. She was a wonderful person and a great friend and will truly be missed by the community. Not many can say that.
Ms. Brenda was definitely one of a kind. When I first started working at England Manor I didn't know how to take her! Over time I learned she was a smart, dedicated and caring woman. She will be missed. . Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family.
Had the pleasure of working and caring for Brenda. She will be missed terribly. Sending my condolences to the family.
