Melissa (Lisa) Kay Coats, 42, of Memphis, TN died on Friday, August 30. 2013. Melissa enjoyed camping, cooking and her church.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert Coats; a daughter Heather Coats; two sons Caleb and Cody Coats; grandchild R. J. Guy; four sisters Shelby Patterson, Susan Patterson, Shannon Vaughn and Johnnie Pine.
Visitation will be 10 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Raleigh Assembly of God with a service following at 12 pm.
Burial will be at Memphis Memorial Gardens.

I am very sorry about your loss. Although I did not know Melissa, I can relate to the deep pain that comes with losing someone you love. My brief word of comfort comes from God's word in Revelation 21:4--"And he (God) will wipe out every tear from your eyes and death will be no more..." Job 14:15--"You will call and I myself shall answer you." Knowing our dear God will bring back to life our precious loved ones can bring us hope and peace. It is my wish you will find some comfort in these words.
