Jackie Imogene Haley Loggains, 85, of Melbourne died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, in a Batesville hospital.
Born Sept. 2, 1925, in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of Millard F. and Emma Brooks Haley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed attending church. She was a member of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
Survivors include two sons, James Loggains and his wife, Patty, and Ronny Loggains and his wife, Candace; two daughters, Sheila Cooper and her husband, Bob, and Vicki Lawrence, all of Melbourne; four grandchildren, Jamie Loggains, Jessica Engles, Joni Knapp and Duane Cooper; four great-grandchildren, Logan Engles, Emilee Engles, Sydney Knapp and Shelbie Knapp; a sister-in-law, Anna Haley and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Loggains; and a grandchild, Christol Cooper.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pratt Cemetery in Lunenburg with Ricky Burke officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie Loggains, Jessica Engles, Ricky Engles, Joni Knapp, Josh Knapp and Duane Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Logan Engles, Emilee Engles, Sydney Knapp, and Shelbie Knapp.
No visitation is planned.

I'm sorry to hear this. We lost our mom a couple of years ago now. I understand your feelings. I remember seeing Vicky and Shelia at the All School Reunion last year & I do remember riding the school bus with you all. Also helping you catch chickens at least once. Jackie was such a sweet lady. I have many fond memories of her growing up. Sheila has been a part of my family so long that I always thought of Jackie and Eugene as family.
