Randell Brooks, 51, of the Osceola area, died Saturday, April 28, at Mellwood. He was a farmer and lived most of his life in Jonesboro; he was a 1974 graduate of Jonesboro High School. He and his son had a special relationship together, sharing his love of farming, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Brooks of Jonesboro; one son, Jay Randell Brooks of Carson Lake, AR; two brothers, William "Hank" Brooks of Jonesboro and Bryan Brooks of Blytheville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jethro Brooks of Jonesboro, and grandparents Henry and Clara Brooks, and Jess and Ruth Vickery.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with John Freeman officiating, and burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Robert Walker, Freddie Smith, Bubba Norvell, John Nelson, Tommy Gambill, Stan Bowlin, Dale McPherson and Mike Mangrum.
