Kenneth Eugene Brownlee, Sr., 83, entered into rest January 3, 2007 in Mtn. View.

He was born February 18, 1922 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Carl Huston and Bess (Dunaway) Brownlee.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed real estate broker, husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the American Legion in Mtn. View for 27 years and member of Blue Mountain Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years last Christmas, Nora Anna Mae (LaRoe) Brownlee; a son, Butch Brownlee and his wife Paula of Mtn. View; a daughter, JoElla Hughes and her husband, Dan of Arlington, Texas; a grandson, Heath Hughes; a granddaughter, Janelle Fowler and her husband Chris; a great-granddaughter, Paige Fowler all of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Carl Huston Brownlee, Jr of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a sister-in-law, Athlea Moody of Mtn. View.

Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 2 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel with Bro. Junior Avey officiating. Interment will be in Fifty-six Cemetery, Fifty-six, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Heath Hughes, Chris Fowler, Bob Lucas, Larry Stewart, Roy Green, and Barry Storey.

Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Gray, Russell Lemon and George Bennett.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials to Bank of Mtn. View for funeral expenses.
