Annie Mae Samuels

Annie Mae Hill Samuels, 89, of Weiner, died Tuesday, October 10, at Jonesboro.

Born in Athens, Alabama. Mrs. Samuels has lived most of her life around Weiner and was a member of First Baptist Church in Weiner. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Schwarz and her husband John of Weiner, and Glynda White and her husband Frank of Weiner; eight grandchildren, Gerry Jaco, Lisa Swartz, Johnna Whitmore, Jeff Sutton, Michelle Wolfe, Tony Schwarz, Tammy Lisko, and Kelly Womble; nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Wesley Hill and Julie Easley Hill, her husband Thomas A. Samuels, four brothers, and six sisters.

Active Pallbearers will be grandsons, Gerry Jaco, Josh Glass, Tony Schwarz, Steven Jaco, Jeff Sutton and Jeremy Glass.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Weiner with her nephew, Terry Wayne George officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.

Memorials may be made to Weiner Fire Department or Oak Grove Cemetery.
