Lyvetta Joan Bennett, 88, of Osceola, AR, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in Dyersburg, TN. She was born in Burdette, AR on June 10, 1937, to John Ford and Maggie Nola Clark. Lyvetta was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Luxora Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending her time shopping and going out to eat. Lyvetta was the proud wife of a farmer, Mr. Charles Wayne Bennett. She had many jobs over the years; some most notably were, the Luxora Drug Store, the Lux Theater, which she has told numerous people about the fun times she had there, the electric company and finally First National Bank, where she retired from.

Lyvetta is survived by her sister, Doris Smith, nephews, Dale Smith, Scott Gardner, Lee Gardner, Van Smith and Bryan Goff, special friends, Lee and Sherry Barch, as well as a host of many family and friends. She was preceded by her parents, her loving husband, their son, Steven Bennett, sisters, Dixie Gardner and Johnnie Goff.
