With heavy hearts, we are mourning the unexpected passing of John C. Dickson, 72, on March 2, 2026. Our Friend, Dad, Brother, Grampy, Sweetie, and Husband, he was loved by so many.
He was born in 1953 to Maxine Findley and Rev. Robert Dickson in Michigan.
His brothers are Bud, Dale, and Jim, and sister Janie Caufield, and his sister Debbie James. His daughters are Rebecca Cater (husband Steve, with sons Jonah, Matthew, and Noah), Robin Rowland (husband Ron, with children Dustin Rowland and Katelyn Aldrich) , and Raina Brimmage (husband Brian, with Alex and Blake and Sammy) .
His family were the lights of his heart and John was so proud of them all. For over twenty years he was a finance manager at Bradford Marine and made many friends there. John will always be known for his ready smile, the best of heartfelt hugs, and laughter!
A quiet personal thank you goes to the memory of his special dog Shelly, who brought John and Kim Miller together twenty years ago and set them on their great adventure.
To celebrate John and a life full of fun with him, please be kind, love big, and support animal shelters when you can.
And so, to the finest human being and most sincere gentleman, let's all raise a glass to John!
