Harold Herschel Crane, 87 of Leslie, Arkansas, went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 1, 2026. ''Well done good and faithful servant.'' Mathew 25:21
He was born on March 7, 1938, at home in Colton, California to Elvin Elbert and Ola Mae Crane. The first born of three children. He was born during a flood and his mother acted as doctor and nurse during the delivery. The doctor arrived a half hour later.

He spent his childhood living in Southern California, New Mexico and West Texas. He attended college for two years at Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, Kansas. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He lived much of his early adult life in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he worked as a general contractor, Founder and Owner of HHC Construction. He moved to Leslie, Arkansas in the early 1980's where he co-founded the Leslie Medical Center and lived out the remainder of his time here on earth.

Harold was a man devoted to God, prayer and faith whose life was anchored in eternity. He enjoyed good health across his lifespan. He spent his last few days on earth praying, praising God, and even interceding for others while in the hospital after breaking his hip and suffering a heart attack. He was favored by the hospital medical team that treated him. The family would like to thank Dr. Slayton, Dr. Bridgeforth, Gabriel, Michael and other nurses at Conway Regional Medical Center that lovingly cared for him the last two weeks of his life.
