of Conway, AR
October 10, 1939 - March 2, 2026
Dorothy ''Dotsie'' Thines, 86, of Conway, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. She was born October 10, 1939, in St. Vincent, Arkansas to the late Ben and Theresa (Briggler) Zimmerman.
She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Morrilton. Early in her marriage she was a homemaker before moving into retail sales. She finished her career as the manager of Cordia's Gift Shop. (She also dabbled in acting when she was featured in the Superior Senior Care commercial!) She was loved by her customers and coworkers alike and she had a knack for making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. Dotsie was happiest, spending time with friends and family and baking for those she loved. You never left Dotsie's house without a cookie or brownie in hand! She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Thines, her parents; her brothers, Clarance and E.L. Zimmerman; and her grandchildren, Baby Pruitt and Connor Imboden.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; son, Berny (Mandi) Thines; daughters, Paula Pruitt, Vicki (Bo) Moix, and Rene (Craig) Imboden; grandchildren, Ben (Sara), Daniel (Kelsey), Brandi, Austen (Tory), Andrew (Audrey), Kayla (Dylan), Robert (Lina), Madeline (Andrew), Matthew (Ariana), Ella, and Owen; great-grandchildren, Kinley, Cora, Palmer, Amira, Anna, Bo, Molly, Eli, Fay, Lyla, Quinn and Lucy.
Rosary will be Tuesday, March 10th beginning at 6:30pm at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 11th, also at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Private Inurnment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
The family offers sincere thanks to all the ladies and gentlemen from Superior Senior Care, Superior Health and Rehab, and Hospice Home Care for the wonderful care and love she received. Special thanks, as well, to ''The Lock Boys'' for supplying transportation and friendship. The family is also deeply grateful to Liz Neal for the time, love and care she gave over the years, and to Martha McClaren for the friendship, laughs, cooking lessons and sleepovers they shared since Dad passed. Each of you held a special place in her heart and the hearts of the Thines family!
Memorials can be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund at P.O. Box 72, Conway, AR 72033 or online at www.sjse.org.
