Margaret E. Huett

of Magnolia, AR

September 29, 1939 - January 30, 2026

Margaret Teas Huett, age 86, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away on January 30, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1939, to the late Francis Lavern Chew Teas and the late Charles Elvin Teas. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Buddy Andrew Huett, who she was married to for over 62 years until his passing on April 1, 2019.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her two cherished sons, Richard Andrew Huett and Danny Charles Huett, as well as her siblings: Marvin Edward George, Charles Franklin Teas, MaeDean McClain, and Jerry Wayne Teas.

For the past four years, Margaret was a devoted member of the First Apostolic Church of Magnolia, but her spiritual journey began long before. She was also a longtime member of the Northside Apostolic Church in Mayflower, Arkansas. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and one of her greatest moments was receiving the Holy Ghost on January 22, 1980. She proudly celebrated her 45th Holy Ghost birthday, often saying that it was the only birthday she truly recognized.

Throughout her life, Margaret held various jobs, but her true calling was as a homemaker and caretaker. She was known for her morning routine of enjoying coffee while reading the Bible, journaling, and praying. Her conversations often centered on the goodness of God, and she possessed a unique ability to inspire those around her, reminding them that they could overcome any challenge. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to Cherish her memory is her daughters, Brenda Mitchell (Kevin) and Lisa Quick (Steve); siblings, Jimmy (Joyce) Teas, Larry (Lila) Teas, Liz Long and Teresia (Jim) Matthews; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. A funeral service celebrating Margaret's life will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Northside Apostolic Church of Mayflower, with Rev. Jeremy Motes and Rev. Keith Morris officiating. There will be no graveside service following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John & Ordell Becton Memorial Fund at Apostolic Christian Academy, a cherished educational ministry of the First Apostolic Church.
Margaret Teas Huett will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her loving spirit and steadfast faith will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
