Raymond Leon Davis Sr., of Conway, Arkansas, was born on November 5, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Vernon Lewis Davis and Mittie Lorene Womack Davis. He passed peacefully on January 27, 2026.
Raymond was married for 60 years to the love of his life, Sandra Ouzts Davis, with whom he built a life rooted in devotion, faith, and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Brian Davis; his granddaughter, Candace Nicole Scarber; and his sister, Verna Lou Harrod.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Sandra Davis of Conway ; his son, Raymond Davis (Rhonda) of Conway; his grandchildren, Kaeci Perryman (Adam) of Dothan, Alabama, Chris Scarber of Conway, Zachary Davis (Denise) of Conway, and Victoria Hollinger (Aaron) of Sherwood; great-grandchildren Anna Perryman, Leena Davis, and Colt Davis, his brother, Calvin Davis (Charlotte); along with numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Raymond lived a life defined by service. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a frogman, and the United States Army as a Para Trooper demonstrating courage and commitment at a young age. Following his military service, he continued to serve his city and state as a police officer, protecting and caring for his community. He further dedicated himself through service as a Mason, embodying the values of brotherhood, charity, and integrity.

A lifelong learner, Raymond had an enduring curiosity and determination to master new skills. He taught himself to play the guitar and fulfilled a lifelong dream by learning to fly an airplane - accomplishments that reflected his independence, discipline, and adventurous spirit.

Raymond Leon Davis Sr. will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful brother, and a man who lived his life in service to others. His legacy of dedication, learning, and love will continue to live on in all who knew him.
