Dale G. Prater, 77, entered the presence of his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on January 17, 2026.

Dale, raised in Greasy Creek, Kentucky, was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Lexie Prater, brother, Avery Prater, sisters, Pansy Hopkins, Loretta Stumbo, Naomi Bailey, Bernice Cloud, and one miscarried grandchild.

Celebrating his life here on earth and rejoicing in his eternal life with Christ are, Susie, his wife of 53 years of North Little Rock, Arkansas, two sons, Paul Andrew Prater (Sarah); granddaughter, Ruby Lee Prater of White Hall, Arkansas; grandson, Rafferty Chenault of Russellville, Arkansas; and Patrick Alan Prater (Gaile); granddaughter, Phoenix Love Prater of Bentonville, Arkansas; and brother, Reaford (Brenda) Prater of Lancaster, KY.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, with Wyman Richardson officiating.

Interment will follow at a later date at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
