Grace Jollyof Greenbrier, AR
February 3, 1924 - January 12, 2026
Grace Earlene Webb Jolly, 101, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, January 12, 2026, at her daughter's home, with family by her side. She was born February 3, 1924, in Enders, Arkansas, to the late Frank and Ella Tanner Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband Doyle; her sons, Hal and Don Jolly; her brothers, Vernon and Willie Webb; and her sister Silvia Webb McGraw.
Grace's life was epic. She survived the hardships of the Great Depression, watched the love of her life go to World War II and return, and then watch all the advancements that came after. She was a member of Centerville Methodist Church, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and attended the local home demonstration meetings in her younger years. She and Doyle raised their family on the dairy farm. Grace would milk cows, feed and bottle calves, and keep the housework complete. She loved to rock her babies and her babies' babies, while singing, ''Bye, Baby Bunting.'' Sunday dinners were a favorite time for Grace allowing her to spend time with her family while sharing one of their favorite activities, eating. She cooked for them until she physically could not. After her children were grown, she and Doyle loved to travel out west to Colorado and Wyoming, camping and trout fishing. When Grace wasn't taking care of her family or traveling, she loved to read John Grisham novels, quilt, garden, and talk on the phone to her sisters Kaki and Sib, reminiscing about their childhood during hard times.
Grace is survived by her sister; Mary Catherine Webb Miller, her son Sandy Jolly and wife Cathy, her son; Jim Jolly and wife Pam, her daughter; Teresa and husband Philip, daughter in laws; Nina Jolly and Donna Jolly; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank these special ladies for helping with the care of their mom over these years; Amanda, Madie, Emily, Missy, Hannah, Becky, Hailey and especially, Grace's granddaughter, Grace Golden, who was always there for her grandmother and her mother. Another special thanks to Greenbrier Senior Center- Crytal and her crew, for providing all the home-cooked meals after Grace could no longer cook herself.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at 2:00, at McNew Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Greenbrier Senior Center.
