Peggy Joyce Lewis, 90, a lifelong resident of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Paris, Arkansas. She was born March 12, 1935, in Clarksville to John Benson and Ruby Mae (Frederick) Harris.

Peggy Worked at the Clarksville Shoe Factory and Sara Lee for many years.
Throughout her life Peggy enjoyed gardening. She also loved pets and cherished her dog and her cat.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Lewis; her parents, Ben and Ruby Harris; two brothers, Frederick Harris, and Robert Harris; and three sisters, Mary Harris, June Harvey, and Lorine Broonfield.

Peggy is survived by her son, John Mark Lewis of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her daughter, Teresa Gail Romero and husband Juan of Corning, Kansas; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at West Mt. Zion Cemetery in Harman, Arkansas, officiated by Brother Ken Sisco.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Farrell Patterson, Shane Nichols, Robert Heflin, Andrew Heflin, and Keith Clayborne'
