DeLoris A. Iburg

of Conway, AR

February 23, 1944 - December 28, 2025

DeLoris Arlene Iburg of Conway, Arkansas, was born on February 23, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ramona Lucille Peterman and Edwin Melton Peterman, and peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 28, 2025, resting safely in His arms.

DeLoris was raised in a family deeply rooted in faith, love, and perseverance. From an early age, she developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that became the foundation of her life. Her faith was steady and sincere, lived out daily through humility, kindness, forgiveness, and unwavering trust in God's plan.

Throughout her life, DeLoris leaned on her faith during both joyful and difficult seasons. She believed in the power of prayer and found comfort, strength, and peace in her walk with Christ. Her love for the Lord was reflected in how she treated others, with grace, patience, compassion, and a servant's heart. She lived her faith quietly but powerfully, allowing her actions to speak louder than words.

DeLoris was known for her strong work ethic and independence. She began her career in the trucking industry as a team driver alongside her husband, Joe, a partnership built on trust, dedication, and shared purpose. Together, their hard work and determination grew into their own successful trucking company. Later in life, DeLoris also successfully owned and operated her own wallpaper hanging business, reflecting her creativity, skill, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Above all else, DeLoris treasured her family. She adored her daughter, Wenona Iburg, and cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandson, Keilan Gifford. Being Nana was one of her greatest joys, and the bond they shared was filled with love, laughter, and deep affection.

DeLoris found joy in life's simple blessings, quiet moments of reflection, heartfelt conversations, shared laughter, and time spent with those she loved most. She understood that each day was a gift from God and lived with gratitude for even the smallest moments.

DeLoris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Joe Iburg, whose memory she held close throughout her life. She is now reunited with him in eternal peace.

Though her absence leaves an ache in the hearts of those who loved her, DeLoris's faith offers comfort and hope, reminding us that this is not goodbye, but a temporary farewell. Her life stands as a testament to trusting Christ, loving deeply, and walking faithfully until the journey's end.
''Well done, good and faithful servant.''

DeLoris will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
