Rodolfo "Rudy" Morado, Sr., aged 83, of Alexander, Arkansas was called home by our Lord and Saviour, Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Born in Abilene, Texas on December 19, 1942, to Antonio "Tony" SantivaƱez Morado and Albina Esparza Morado.

On November 4, 1962, Rudy eloped with the love of his life and one true love, Bettie Davila. Together Rudy and Bettie built a most extraordinary life, filled with love, devotion, adventure and most importantly, their lives were built on faith. No matter where life took them, they always found a church to call home where they would build lifelong friendships leaving so many wonderful memories with those they would join in fellowship. Rudy and Bettie were always active in church and loved to sing together.

In 1969 Rudy began his life long career working for the late William "Bill" Waugh (Waugh Enterprises, Inc.) the founder of Taco Bueno, Casa Bonita and Crystals Pizza. The first Taco Bueno started in Abilene, Texas and it was there that Mr. Waugh discovered that Rudy's talent and creative ideas were innovative, original and exceptional, which set him apart from any other. So, wherever a restaurant was going up, there Rudy and Bettie would go, from Abilene to Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Tulsa and then Colorado where Rudy and Bettie would eventually raise their children.

Rudy preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, his daughter Melissa was born sleeping, his parents, his sisters, Alicia Morado, Lidia Alvarado, his brothers, Cecilio Morado, Pedro "Pete" Morado, Alberto Esparza and Armando Esparza.

Rudy is survived by his beloved children, Rudy Morado, Jr. (Rebecca) of Thorton, Colorado, Monalisa (Yvonne) Rodriguez (Freddy) of Lakewood, Colorado, Cecilia Smith (Chad) of Alexander, Arkansas, and Tony Morado (Holly) of Bauxite, Arkansas.

Rudy also leaves behind his loving grandchildren who he cherished and admired dearly, Ezekiel, Briana, Zachary, Brandi, Darren, Andrew, Carson, Rosema, Kelsey and Elizabeth, along with ten great-grandchildren.

In addition, he also is survived by his loving sisters, Margarita Salazar, Irene Camarena and Maria "Cookie" Alvarado, and many neices and nephews.

Rudy's legacy will never be forgotten, his love and so many cherished memories will forever be seared in the hearts of those he leaves behind, remaining as long lasting blessings. Rest in eternal peace, until we meet again.
