October 26, 1943 - December 16, 2025
Fearl Don Davidson, 82, a resident of Hartman, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Clarksville. He was born October 26, 1943, in Altus, Arkansas to the late Abner Lee and Zonia (Robertson) Davidson.
Don was raised in Hunttown along with his three brothers. He was raised on a farm most of his childhood. He worked at Joe Mills Lumber Yard until he realized that type of work was not what he wanted to spend the rest of his life doing. Don soon met the woman he married and shares three children with Tommy, Timmy, and Tambra. It was then his father in-law introduced him to Caterpillar. Learning heavy equipment from that day forward Don found his passion as far as work in heavy equipment went. He was a dozer operator for Peabody Co. After the closing of Peabody, instead of retiring, he bought his own equipment, a dump truck and dozer. He then set out on his own. Don then owned his own business for many years and became a very successful businessman. He called it quits, to enjoy life and retire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Zonia Davidson; and three brothers, Melvin Davidson, J.W. ''Dub'' Davidson, and Dean Davidson.
Don is survived by his sons, Tommy Davidson of Hartman, and Timothy Davidson of Clarksville; his daughter, Tambra and husband Jerry Phillips of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Colton Davidson, Brandon Young, Krista Meeler, Brittany Phillips, and Cody Phillips; seven great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
