Terasa Reismanof Little Rock, AR
August 26, 1970 - December 12, 2025
Terasa Deanne Reisman, age 55, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 26, 1970, in Little Rock.
Terasa lived with an open heart and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. She loved deeply, without condition or hesitation, and her life was marked by purpose, service, laughter, and fierce love. One of the greatest joys of her life was her marriage to her husband, Shawn Reisman. Their love was faithful, Christ centered and rooted in prayer. Together they shared a love of travel and cherished time spent side by side.
Above all else, Terasa adored her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world, the motivation behind every sacrifice, and the greatest joy of her life. She showed up fully, loved loudly, and gave endlessly.
Terasa had a deep passion for children and devoted herself to serving them through her church's youth programs (often as Granny Fanny) and as a CASA advocate for foster children. She believed every child deserved safety, encouragement, and someone willing to stand in the gap, and she lived that belief daily. She also had a tender love for animals, especially her service dog, Zara, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Bright, and stepfather, Robert Bright; her father, Ronald George; her sisters, Shelley George and Haley Parker; and her brother, Todd George, all of Arkansas.
She is also survived by her beloved children: Stephanie Militello (Joe) of Nashville, Tennessee; Delaney Davis of North Little Rock; Perry Young (Tyler) of Maumelle; Madison Canady (Jermel) of Little Rock; Hayden Becker (Anthony) of Pine Bluff; Landon Davis (Brooke) of Little Rock; Donovan Mason of Maumelle; and Myles Reisman of Sherwood, Arkansas; as well as her treasured grandchildren: Skyler, Dustin, Anthony, Liam, Bentley, Michael, Diana-Marie, Kylen, Mason, and Amelia. She is also survived by a big circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who felt more like family and will miss her dearly.
Terasa was preceded in death by her husband, Shawn Reisman; former husband, Steven Davis; her grandmother, Annalee Childers; her grandfather, Eddie Alexander; and dear cousin Rueben Alexander of Hensley, Arkansas.
Though her passing was sudden and deeply tragic, Terasa's life was defined by love, faith, and service. Her legacy lives on through the family she raised, the children she fought for, and the countless lives she touched.
