Virginia Mitchell Herrin, 91, of Memphis Tennessee died peacefully on November 29, 2025, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis. She was born May 15, 1934, in Barton, Arkansas to the late John Foster Mitchell, Sr. and Albertha Bloesch Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Herrin; her two sisters Betty Hill and Martha Hobby; and her two brothers John Mitchell, Jr. and James Mitchell. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Virginia was a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church and a resident of Kirby Pines Retirement Community. She was a true friend, leaving a legacy of laughter and love; her wisdom, genuine kindness and wit will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held on December 12, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, West Helena Arkansas.
