Richard Clem

Richard Clem, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, curiosity, and joy. Known for his extensive knowledge, particularly his passion and expertise in wine, Richard was always eager to share his insights and discoveries with those around him. Richard was never stumped in conversation; He was able to expound on most any and all topics and all knew him to be a fount of knowledge.
He found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially his frequent walks across the Big Dam Bridge, where he enjoyed the serenity of nature and the beauty of the outdoors. Richard's love for animals was evident in the way he cared for and fed the birds and squirrels that visited his apartment, creating a haven for the wildlife in his community.
Richard is survived by his devoted daughter Kimberly Walker (Allen), cherished grandchildren Joseph Thomas (Brianna), Harleigh Thomas and Luna Walker, great-grandchildren Paxtyn and Joseph David Thomas. He is further survived by extended family members, Stacey Fortney, grandsons Nick and Andrew Fortney, also Joseph Isham (Wendy) and children, Tyler, Amanda, Sarah, Robert Isham (Sharon). He also leaves behind a sister, Eris Canady (Steve) and a brother, Kenneth Harris, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Richard's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, the nature he nurtured, and the wisdom he shared. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 10:00am in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
