Jean Verna Cummings, 89, a resident of Clarksville passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at home. She was born December 8, 1935 in Red Rock, Arkansas to the late Oliver and Ola (Shatwell) Holt.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Cummings; her first husband and the father of her children, Percy Craig; her son, Dewayne Craig; her parents, Oliver and Ola Holt; two brothers, Clinton Holt and Leon Holt and one sister, Bernice Vanderpool.

Jean is survived by her sons, David Craig and Jimmy Craig; her daughters, Patricia Hunter and Barbara Craig; 8 grandchildren, James Craig, Hannah Craig, Nathan Craig, Latricia Dyess, Carl Stephen Hunter, Jr., Dewayne Craig, Pierce Lewis Bornick, Tryggve Lewis Bornick; 7 great-grandchildren, Tryggve Lewis Bornick, Jr., Aly Craig, Austin Craig, Michael Dyess, Brenden Dyess, Kiley Ann Hunter and Clayton Ellis Hunter; one sister, Louise Wells; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery, Deer, Arkansas.
