Carl Austin Perrin was born March 5, 1942, in Roanoke Township in Randolph County, Arkansas to Ted and Tempy Perrin. He died on November 19, 2025, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Brizendine Perrin. He is survived by his children John Perrin (Susan), Charles Perrin (Katherine), Laura Taylor (Joe), and Matthew Crane (Heidi); grandchildren Xiao Toone (Chris), Jin Toone, Snow Shewmaker (Chris), Tristyn Perrin, Gabriel Perrin, Isaac Perrin, Austin Hodges (Brittany), Caton Taylor, and James Crane; great grandchildren Declan Hodges and Jocelyn Deden.

Carl was an Arkansas Game and Fish Biologist for 35 years and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and traveling across the United States, especially the Western mountainous areas. He was a faithful participant in church and Sunday School as a long-time member of Harlan Park Baptist Church and more recently attended Four Winds Church in Conway.

The family would like to thank family friend Ana Gwatney for her help and service to the family for many years, Pastor Randy Lewis of Four Winds Church and the staff at Conway Regional for the comfort they provided in his final days. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation or the charity of your choice
