Ethel Irene Bingham

of Gassville, AR

February 17, 1938 - November 18, 2025

Ethel Irene Bingham, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Born on February 17, 1938 in Griggsville, Illinois, Ethel was the beloved daughter of the late Merle and Marguerite Bingham. She carried with her the values of hard work, creativity and kindness that were instilled in her from a young age.

Ethel worked for many years in manufacturing and also spent time in office work, where her reliability and strong work ethic were always evident. Beyond her professional life, she was a gifted and passionate artist. Her talents shone through in her paintings and in the many forms of needlework she mastered, including tatting, crocheting and sewing. She also found joy in her garden, nurturing flowers and plants with the same care she extended to those around her. Music was another source of delight for Ethel and she cherished the moments she spent playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret Hanback; a sister, Georganna Greer and a brother, Robert Bingham.

Ethel is survived by her brother, Rick Bingham and her sister, Marge Showalter; along with several nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth, creativity and quiet strength.

Ethel's life was defined by devotion to her family, her artistic spirit and the gentle grace with which she moved through the world. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
