Judy Eileen Bolteof Romance, AR
August 8, 1944 - November 15, 2025
Judy Bolte, born August 8, 1944, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15th entering into the arms of her Savior after a life filled with love, laughter, faith and extraordinary strength.
Judy was an artist, comedian, entrepreneur, storyteller, caretaker, fighter, survivor, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and above all, a devoted child of the one true King, Jesus Christ. She lived a life that touched countless people and her light will continue to shine through the family she loved so deeply.
Raised with humble beginnings, Judy faced many hardships and challenges throughout her childhood, yet her faith never wavered. She often shared memories of skipping school just to be in the Catholic Church, where she felt closest to her Savior. Even at a young age, her spirit was bold, stubborn and full of passion, traits that stayed with her throughout her life.
At sixteen, while working at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Judy met the love of her life, a dark-haired young man named Richard. From the moment she saw him, she knew he was the one she would marry and she was right. Their love story spanned decades, filled with perseverance, faith and unbreakable devotion. Together, they built a family rooted in love and resilience.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen; her sisters, Sharon and Linda and her beloved son, Richard Brian.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Bolte; her daughters, Monica Stocker (Eric Stocker) and Alyshia Currie (Rick Currie); her sister, Donna Travels; her brother, Michael Overbeck; her grandchildren:
• Erica Rivera (Joel Ramirez)
• Ciara Bolte (Justin Crutchfield)
• Olivia Currie
• Morgan Currie
• Lillian Currie
and eight great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her stories, her strength and her love.
Judy's grandchildren will forever remember her magical storytelling especially the adventures to the land of Pepperdeppleville and the unwavering support she offered in every stage of their lives. She had a heart for people, always welcoming those in need, caring for the unhoused, supporting teen mothers and offering kindness wherever she went.
She brought joy to even the darkest moments, often through humor, song or spontaneous skits that lifted the spirits of everyone around her. Her ability to turn pain into laughter was one of her greatest gifts.
Judy leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and faith. Though the void she leaves is immeasurable, her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones and resting in the presence of Christ, whom she adored with all her heart.
Her spirit will continue to guide, inspire and embrace the family she cherished. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
