Gerald Albert ''Curly'' Neumeier, 92, a lifetime resident of Scranton, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 09, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Gerald was born August 23, 1933, in Scranton, Arkansas to his parents, August Francis Neumeier and Mary Laura (Bollweg) Neumeier. Gerald was a veteran of the United States Army and was self-employed. He ran Curly's Outing Supplies for many years providing camping supplies and beverages. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Scranton and the American Legion in Scranton. Gerald loved to spend his free time with his family or by himself at his cabin on the mountain in Oark, where he enjoyed going hunting, fishing or trapping. He also enjoyed going to Oaklawn to watch the horses race.

He is preceded in death by his parents previously mentioned; two brothers, Henry Herman ''Harry'' Neumeier and Stephen Joseph ''Stevie'' Neumeier; two sisters Augusta Neumeier Jansen and JoAnn Neumeier Holloway.

He is survived by his son, Mike Neumeier, of Scranton; a sister, Anna Sharum of Ft. Smith, two grandchildren, Blake Neumeier and wife, Laikken of Clarksville and Teigan Neumeier of Ratcliff; three great grandchildren, Barrett Neumeier of Clarksville, Brooke Neumeier of Fayetteville and Madison Harper of Ratcliff and several other family members and friends.

A Rosary service will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Scranton at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 14, 2025, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Fr. John Miranda with burial at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery in Scranton.
